A recommendation to a friend, sharing your latest purchase, answering “Where did you get that?” or sending someone a link to something you think they'd love are exactly the kinds of genuine referrals this program was created to reward.
Before You Apply
Share & Earn is exclusively available to existing Shop With The Lad customers.
A previous purchase is required to participate. Every application is manually reviewed, and purchase history will be verified before an account is approved.
This program is intended for genuine customer referrals and is not an open affiliate program for coupon websites, deal directories, affiliate blogs, automated referral networks or applicants who have never purchased from Shop With The Lad.
Rewards are issued as Shop With The Lad gift cards — not cash payments.
How Share & Earn Works
1. Apply to Become a Lad Liaison
If you've previously purchased from Shop With The Lad, submit an application to join Share & Earn. Applications are manually reviewed and purchase history is verified before approval.
2. Get Your Referral Link
Once approved, you'll have access to your own referral link to share with friends, family, followers or anyone who asks where you found something.
3. Share What You Love
There's no posting quota and no expectation that you turn your social media into an advertisement. Share your link when it makes sense — when someone compliments your bag, asks about something you purchased, loves the blanket you ordered or simply wants to know where you found it.
4. Earn 10% in Referral Rewards
When a completed, qualifying purchase is attributed to your referral, you'll earn a referral reward equal to 10% of the qualifying merchandise amount.
Referral rewards are calculated after discounts. Shipping and taxes are not included in the reward calculation.
5. Turn Your Rewards Into Something for You
Your referral rewards accumulate as you earn them. Once you've accumulated at least $25 in approved referral rewards, your rewards are issued as a Shop With The Lad gift card to use toward a future purchase.
A Few Things to Know
How long does my referral link track a referral?
When someone visits Shop With The Lad through your referral link, the referral can be tracked for up to 30 days. Once that person places their qualifying order, tracking for that referral ends.
Browser settings, cleared cookies, switching devices and other factors can affect referral tracking, so it's always best for the shopper to use your referral link when they're ready to place their order.
Can I use my own referral link when I shop?
No. Share & Earn is designed to reward you for introducing others to Shop With The Lad. Purchases made through your own referral link do not earn referral rewards.
But don't worry — that's what Loft Loot is for! As a Shop With The Lad customer, you can earn Loft Loot on eligible purchases and redeem it for available shopping rewards.
Can another Lad Liaison use my referral link?
Purchases made by another Lad Liaison are not eligible for Share & Earn referral rewards.
How is my 10% referral reward calculated?
Referral rewards are calculated using the qualifying merchandise amount after discounts have been applied. Shipping and taxes are excluded.
For example, if qualifying merchandise is $100 and a $15 discount is applied, the eligible merchandise amount is $85. A 10% referral reward would be $8.50.
What happens if a referred order is cancelled or refunded?
Referral rewards are earned on completed, qualifying purchases. If a referred order is cancelled or refunded, the associated referral reward will be cancelled or adjusted accordingly.
When do I receive my gift card?
Referral rewards accumulate in your Lad Liaison account. Once you have at least $25 in approved rewards, they are eligible to be issued as a Shop With The Lad gift card.
Can I be paid in cash instead?
No. Share & Earn rewards are issued exclusively as Shop With The Lad gift cards. Cash payouts are not available.
Do I need a website or social media account?
No!
Share & Earn isn't about the size of your audience. It's about genuine recommendations from actual customers. You can share with friends, family, coworkers, social media followers or anyone else who might enjoy shopping with The Lad.
